Drutex product guarantee
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. For the purposes of this Warranty Card, the terms:
(a) Guarantor - means DRUTEX Spółka Akcyjna (joint stock company), registered in Bytów,
Lęborska g. 31, 77-100 Bytów, registered in the National Court Register under number 0000140428, VAT
Code: 842-16-22-720, REGON: 771564493, authorised capital - 21.690.000,00 PLN, fully paid up.
b) Warranty - shall be understood as a right of the Purchaser arising from the statement of the Warrantor in this Warranty Card.
(c) Installation Manual - understood as the document „Installation and
Admissions Handbook“ (PDF available at:
https://e-portal.drutex.pl/pl/document/assembly_and_acceptance_guide, and in paper form on request).
d) Guarantee Sheet - this document containing the Guarantor's statement of guarantee, available at www.e-
portal.drutex.pl or in paper form at the Buyer's request.
(e) "Consumer" means a person referred to in Article 221 of the Civil Code of 23 April 1964 (1964 Laws
Handbook, No. 16, item 93, as amended).
f) "Buyer" means a professional entity or consumer who purchases a Product.
g) Manufacturer - shall be understood to mean the Warrantor.
(h) Product - PVC, ALUMINUM and WOOD window and door products offered in the Manufacturer's trade
as well as additional products such as external roller blinds (PVC), adaptive roller blinds
(ALUMINUM), external roller shutters RS, system accessories (handrails, handles, air vent openers, fans, door
attractants, fittings and patent lock cylinders, electric motors for roller shutters, electric locks) - for which
Warranty.
i) Service - the Guarantor's employees and partners who carry out activities to assess or implement the Buyer's
rights under the Guarantee.
j) "Vendor" means a natural or legal person who, in the course of business, offers the Guarantor's products on the market,
covered by the Warranty.
k) Warranty claim or complaint - information about a defect in the product with a claim for enforcement,
arising from the Guarantee.
2. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Buyer's rights in the event that the product supplied does not conform to the contract.
3. Complaints under the Guarantee that the Guarantor considers justified will be resolved in one of the following ways:
(a) the Product is repaired (i.e. the defect is rectified), or
(b) if repair is not possible, the Product will be replaced with a new Product free from defects.
4. The Warrantor shall decide in each case how to remedy defects covered by the warranty.
5. The warranty shall only be granted to the owner of the product who submits a warranty claim in accordance with the procedure set out in this sheet and
terms.
6. If the item sold is not in conformity with the contract, the buyer, who is a Consumer, has the right to a legal remedy against the seller
account. The guarantee does not limit these rights.
7. Before buying a product, the buyer must check that it meets the required standards for tightness, conductivity, etc.
Classes according to site conditions.
II. WARRANTY PERIOD
1. The Warrantor warrants, unless otherwise stated, its own Products:
(a) for windows and balcony doors in PVC systems, for 5 (five) years;
b) ALUMINUM windows, glass partitions and balcony doors - for 3 (three) years;
c) for internal and external doors in PVC and ALUMINUM systems - for 2 (two) years;
(d) external roller blinds (PVC), external RS roller blinds and adaptive blinds (ALUMINUM),
4 (four) years for blinds and electric roller shutter motors and 3 (three) years for roller shutter armour,
2 (two) years for external blinds;
(e) accessories for the above systems (handrails, handles, air vents, fans, door
for attractants, non-standard fittings, patent locks) - for 1 (one) year; for electro-handles - for
2 (two) years;
(f) for wooden windows and balcony doors - for 3 (three) years;
(g) for wooden external doors, for 2 (two) years;
(h) HS for lift-and-slide doors (wood, PVC, aluminium), PSC for hinged-sliding doors
doors (wood, PVC, aluminium), folding doors (aluminium), sliding systems (PVC, aluminium)
- 2 (two) years;
(i) for framed and pleated insect nets, for 2 (two) years;
j) facades (facade structures, columns and traverses) - for 5 (five) years;
(k) for facade inserts (windows or doors), the guarantee period shall be the same as the period specified for these products;
(l) for pergolas (including TS50 conservatory and WG60 conservatory) for 2 (two) years;
m) garage doors - for 2 (two) years.
2. The Warranty Period shall commence from the moment the Guarantor sells the Product to the first

3. The product or part of the product for which a warranty claim has been made is guaranteed for 12 (twelve) months
from the date of replacement. This period may not be shorter than that laid down in point 1 of Section II.
4. Removal or replacement of a defective product with a new, defect-free product does not trigger a new warranty period
the beginning of the warranty period and shall not extend the applicable warranty period, except as provided for in point 3.
